Who We Are

Our Mission

Simply4TheYouth is a faith-based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and empowering young people aged 11–22. Guided by biblical values of compassion, equality, dignity, and respect, we provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every young person is valued — regardless of their background, culture, or beliefs.

"Our mission is to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and resilience they need to fulfil their potential and overcome the challenges they face."

Through mentoring, workshops, training, and community engagement, we nurture personal growth, strengthen self-belief, and empower young people to become positive role models and active contributors within their communities.

We work collaboratively with specialist agencies, local organisations, employers, and DBS-checked volunteers to deliver holistic, high-quality support.

What Guides Us

Our Core Values

❤️
Compassion

We approach every young person with empathy, warmth, and genuine care — meeting them where they are and walking alongside them on their journey.

⚖️
Equality

Every young person deserves the same opportunities regardless of their background, culture, or circumstances. We champion fairness in everything we do.

🌟
Dignity

We honour the inherent worth of every individual, creating spaces where young people feel respected, seen, and celebrated for who they are.

🤝
Respect

Mutual respect underpins all our relationships — between staff, volunteers, young people, families, and the wider community.

🙏
Faith

Rooted in biblical principles, our faith motivates and sustains our work — though our programmes are open and welcoming to all, regardless of belief.

🏘️
Community

We believe in the power of community — building strong networks of support, collaboration, and shared purpose around every young person we serve.

Our Purpose

Three Core Objectives

Everything we do is shaped by three powerful principles that guide our work with every young person we support.

💡
Inspire

We create opportunities that build confidence, strengthen resilience, and encourage personal growth — enabling young people to recognise their strengths and believe in their own potential.

Empower

We equip young people to make informed, positive choices, develop leadership skills, and become active, responsible citizens who make meaningful contributions to society.

🌟
Transform

We support young people in discovering their identity, developing strong character and values, and creating lasting positive change in their own lives, families, and communities.

The Founder

Percilla Watkis

Percilla Watkis — Founder & Director of Simply4TheYouth
"

"I know first-hand how one act of kindness, one opportunity, or one person who believes in you can completely change the direction of a young person's life."

Percilla Watkis

Founder & Director

Inspired by the encouragement and support she received while facing her own challenges as a young person, Percilla dedicated her career to supporting children and young people. With extensive experience in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, and as a driving instructor, she would hear young people share their struggles during lessons — and felt a calling to do more.

Simply4TheYouth was born from that calling — for young people aged 11–22 to be empowered, inspired, and transformed. She believes it would be a great pleasure to support even one young person whose life is transformed, because that means the purpose has begun to be fulfilled.

Percilla holds extensive qualifications in childcare, education, sports coaching, and youth work. Her faith and lived experience drive her unwavering commitment to every young person Simply4TheYouth serves.
